“We don’t have to be perfect, just strive to be better than we were yesterday, along with a big dose of self care”

Our Story

Eva Physiotherapy and Wellness is a studio located in the Melbourne Suburb of Blackburn. Our mission is dedicated to helping people be more than just injury free. We are dedicated to helping you develop the habits to live a successful, healthy and well-balanced life.

My name is Carmen Wong and I am the founder of Eva Physiotherapy and Wellness. Growing up I had always wanted to be a physiotherapist. After working in one of Victoria’s top hospitals in the fields of orthopaedic rehabilitation, cancer rehabilitation and chronic pain I soon realised there is more to recovery than just exercise.

Carmen has a special interest in orthopaedic rehabilitation and cancer rehabilitation. She has journeyed with many presenting with cording, lymphoedema, knee pain, back pain and osteoarthritis. She has developed expert clinical skills in supporting those pre and post orthopaedic surgery and breast surgery. She has a particular interest in supporting patients to feel confident in returning to their previous activities.

I understand that life can get busy and it can be hard to fit in your rehabilitation among other things in life. I will work with you to create a treatment plan that as achievable and effective. I am a strong believer of the importance of mental and physical wellbeing to being the best you.

The importance of mindset, stage of change, nutrition, sleep, stress management and feeling good about yourself all play vital roles to achieving the best life possible.

Helping people be injury free and achieve optimal levels of health has been my passion and I hope to share that with you.

In my spare time I love gym, playing the piano, stretching, contortion, pole dancing, acro and handstands! I used to be a competitive badminton player and runner. I love sharing my foam rolling and stretching tips with people. Because of my experience with the above sports and gym I also love giving stretching and strengthening programs to help you achieve your sports related goals!
