Physiotherapy Initial Consultation and Review
We believe in an in depth assessment of your injury to help you find the best solution. So we schedule 45 minutes for your initial consultation and 25-30 minutes for your review. This gives us enough time to come up with a personalised plan for you.
Treatment may include soft tissue treatment, massage, taping, stretching and education.

Physiotherapy Consultation or Review under EPC - Enhanced Primary Care

A gap fee is charged as we provide a high-quality service. We provide treatments on time, and allow above the time allowance that is covered by medicare.
Lymphoedema /Oncology Assessment and Review
We have therapists trained in lymphoedema and oncology treatment. Oncology rehabilitation is a specialised type or rehabilitation where we recommend you see a therapist with oncology experience. If you have been told you have lymphoedema, or have been referred to a lymphoedema therapist, we recommend you booking in to see a lymphoedema therapist. The initial consultation will be 45 minutes and reviews can range between 30-45 minutes. We will discuss our findings and treatment options with you. Treatment may include education about your condition, garment prescription, circumferential measurements, exercise prescription and massage.

Telehealth
We offer telehealth sessions if you choose to take up this service. This service may not be suitable for everyone and we can assess whether this is appropriate for you! Here are some things it can be great for:
injury prevention exercise prescription and exercise techniques
rehabilitation pre/post surgery
strength training

WorkCover and TAC Payment Policy
Eva Physiotherapy is a privately-owned clinic committed to providing the highest quality care to achieve the best treatment outcomes for all patients. We provide quality treatments on time, well above the time allowance of that which is covered by the insurance treatment framework. We do not double or overbook and all of our physiotherapists are highly experienced. To allow for quality care and services to continue, this clinic charges a gap fee for WorkCover services and TAC service.
By booking your appointment you understand and agree to the following conditions with regards to the provision and payment of Workcover and TAC services:
1. All patients receiving treatment under WorkCover and TAC must provide evidence of claim approval and claim number at initial presentation.
2. As WorkCover and TAC insurers do not cover the entire consultation fee, a gap fee will be charged to you in accordance with the clinic’s full private fees. This fee must be paid at the time of service before any follow-up appointments are confirmed.
3. Gap fees must be paid privately and cannot be claimed on private health insurance, Medicare or any other third party.
4. Consent is provided for the clinic to provide details of treatment to the WorkCover insurer or TAC as required.
5. No medical reports will be completed if a patient has outstanding charges on their account. Once full payment is received, any required reports will be completed and sent to the appropriate parties.
6. Proof of treatment and a copy of the receipt will be provided to the patient for use as evidence in a claim for reimbursement.
7. Payment must be made on the day of the appointment. You are responsible for covering the consultation fee. Eva Physiotherapy will not seek reimbursement from WorkCover or TAC.
